Matt and I got engaged in March and have now been married for about a month. We were married in the Palmyra, NY temple on May 10, 2008. It was such a beautiful weekend. We were so grateful for all the family and friends that were able to share in our special day. I posted some fun pictures from the wedding. My favorite is the one with me and my bridesmaids called "the beasts!"We went on our honeymoon to St. Lucia in the Carribbean Islands...it was beautiful! We went zip linging through the rainforest, scuba diving, sailing and we even got to go on the same boat that they used for Pirates of the Carribbean and watch the sun set. We are now back to real life in Vancouver (Salmon Creek) Washington. We have a cute little apartment that I'm still trying to make a little more homey. We don't have a couch or a tv yet...but our sweet sister and brother-in-law (Kim and Juan) are letting us borrow there tv, dvd player and dining room table. We really need some furniture...we don't love sitting on the floor...oh the life of newly weds! I'm far from home and still adjusting to everything that married life has to offer. Washington is very beautiful...very green like NY. Matt's getting settled into the new dental practice. There are lots of little things that need to be updated in the office and then lots of paper work and other stuff that I don't know a whole lot about. He's just happy to be back working and getting his hands dirty again. I'm trying to keep busy with being a good home maker and then spending lots of time with my sister-inlaw, Kim, who's pretty great. I really lucked out with good in laws. I'm joining a couple of indoor soccer leagues to keep me busy and hopefully in shape. I also plan to get into some volunteering. I'd like to make myself useful and it sure makes my day to make someone else smile...so I'm looking for some things to do that way. I plan to go back to school in the fall, probably part time. That's about it for now!
